In the week leading up to seeing Jon Richardson in stand up I was imagining him telling us, the audience, that he now had a girlfriend and everyone would go 'aww' or 'yay' or whatever, make positive noises and that, except for me who'd quietly say 'boo' and he'd go 'did someone just boo me for saying I had a girlfriend?!' and I'd go 'I was saying boo-urns' and no one would understand my reference and it'd get really quiet and awkward.
